Vaginitis is an inflammation in the
vagina due to infection. The infection could be due to many reasons. It
could be because of poor immune system at certain period. The symptoms
that show the Vaginitis presence is pain in the vulva, itchiness or
burning, irritation, abnormal discharge, pain during inter course,
discomfort during urination and foul vaginal odor.
Infectious Vaginitis often affect 90% of
all cases of the reproductive women age. There are 3 main types of
Vaginitis that often occur in women.

Bacterial Vaginosis: Vaginitis
that is caused by bacteria

Candidiasis: Vaginitis that is
caused by yeast

Trichomoniasis: Vaginitis that is
caused by parasite
Main Causes of Vaginitis Infections:
Low Immune System. Our level of immune system
fluctuates at times. When it happens to the woman, the genital area is
obviously more susceptible to infection.
Improper Hygiene: The vulva needs to be clean and
dry all the time. The vagina is self cleansing with self colonized by
symbiotic flora microorganisms that protect it from disease causing
foreign microbes. It has self regulate pH balance to protect itself
from infection.
Poor diet. Diet is important to keep the body
hormones balance.
Allergies: Allergies can be in the form of
foreign object such as soap, spermicides, condoms, semen, tampons and
various other objects.
Sexually Active: Vaginitis Infections is
transmitted through multiple partners with the same infection.
Blood Sugar Level: A diabetic woman is more
susceptible to Vaginitis than someone who is not.
