What You Should Know About Diet?

 

What you eat is what you get as the saying goes. This is exactly what happens in real world. There is no such thing as eating as much and at the same time hoping to slim down. There must be an outlet or an avenue to release that extra calorie in your body.

 

Dieting

 

There are many different types of diets. Every culture and ethnic has their own. Basically the original diet of the natives shall depend on what is available from the ground up. We do not have a systematic transportation that is able to deliver a Japanese Tuna to United States before the Wright brothers created air plane.

 

The important part of a good diet is to provide the consumer a steady intake of nutritious, well balance and nutrients rich food. An organic food which come directly from the source and with less processing is a much better diet in general.

 

A healthy diet will need to include:

  • fruits, vegetables, whole grains and nuts, beans

  • milk products which include cheese

  • lean meat, poultry, fish, eggs

  • low in saturated fats, trans fat, cholesterol, salt (sodium) and sugar

  • plenty of water as hydration

The different kinds of Diet:

  • Raw Veganism. This diet consist of raw fruits, vegetables, nuts, grain, sprouts, seeds, fresh juices, see weeds, herbs and plant oil like soy oil which has been prepared in temperature below 48 degrees Celsius.

  • Hunter Gatherer. The diet consist of all edible plants, insects and animals from the wild. Most of the food obtain are through gathering. Their natural variety of food makes them tough and a healthy society.

  • Vegetarian. As the word suggest, vegetarian diet has been practiced by many people around the world. It is one of the most widely known diet and research has shown that our internal organ are more suitable for vegetarian diet than meat based diet. Vegetarian diet is divided into many categories such as:

    • lacto vegetarian diet which include dairy diet but without eggs

    • ovo-vegetarian diet which include eggs but without dairy diet

    • lacto-ovo vegetarian diet include dairy and eggs diet

    • semi vegetarian diet include dairy, eggs and fish but without meat diet

  • Omnivores. Most of our modern society are omnivores. We eat animals (usually farmed) and plant based food. We derived our source of energy and nutrients from both categories.
