You would have been informed by all health conscious freaks to go on fruits diet. Yes it is good but do you know that it has some serious negative effect if not taken in moderation?

 

Fruits Diet are rich in mineral, vitamins, fiber and antioxidants. Their benefits are unquestionable. Yet there are some true fact which you should know.

 

The Non-Benefits Of Too Much Fruits Dieting

  • fruits are packed with fructose. Our body only release hormone insulin when it senses glucose which derives from carbohydrate and fat. The problem is that fructose doesn't trigger hormone insulin to be release. When there are no hormone insulin in our blood system, our digestive system are unable to detect fullness from our stomach. This is where we will continue eating fruits non stop. Too much fructose ultimately will converted to energy to be stored as fat in our tissue. Obesity becomes the problem.

  • with the weight gain, there will be a negative spillover effect of increase in triglycerides level. High Triglycerides level are known to be one of the main reason for heart disease.

  • high triglycerides level are also associated with high cholesterol level.

  • fruit fructose are known to cause tooth cavities. The sweetness are slowly released into our mouth when we chew fruits. Furthermore, citrus fruits are the main cause to damaging tooth enamel. High concentration of acid are detrimental to our tooth. Researchers have proven that brushing teeth immediately after a taking citrus fruits are bad for our tooth because of brushing off the weakened enamel.

Due to the nature of fruits which are rich in fructose, we have to take them in moderation. Fruits Diet are not the only solution to better and healthier lifestyle. We can actually absorb the same nutrients from vegetable instead. Vegetables provide even more fiber compare to fruits without the extra calories.
