Diabetes Mellitus is better known as Diabetes in general. It is a condition when a person has a high level of blood sugar level due to the potential reasons of:

  • Steroid Diabetes: this type of Diabetes is the result of complications of other disease treatment that lead to Diabetes within the same patient.

  • Monogenic Diabetes: this is also known as Maturity Onset Diabetes Of The Young (MODY) which consist of approximately 10 different forms of Diabetes caused by the genetic defects of the pancreas development.

Diabetes have become one of the prime disease over the last one century. It is believed to be due to the diet which we adopt. Over the last 10,000 years, we have changed our diet drastically. From eating raw food such as nuts, green vegetation, raw hunted animals and seafood to cooked rice and grains. The total shift of diet has resulted in obesity that leads to diabetes.

 

With the current instant and out of the can sweetened drink such as Coke and Pepsi, the effects have been multiplied many folds. Every child as young as 1 month old are exposed to this kind of environment.

 

Symptom of Diabetes include:

  • Frequent Urination: most diabetic patients need to urinate frequently.

  • Increased of Thirst: with the increased osmotic pressure, the frequent urination also will result in thirst.

  • Increased Hunger: most diabetic probable patients are hungry all the time due to highly digestion level.

  • Blur Vision: the shape of the eye lenses start to change when the glucose absorption starts to take place.

  • Slow recovery of open wound.

  • Ants that spread around the toilet bowl that shows you urine are sweet.

  • Skin rashes that occur from nowhere.

A person with prolonged glucose level of over 7.0mmol/l is in danger zone of developing diabetes.
